Let's talk about a topic that often remains hidden but is of crucial importance: lived womanhood and sexuality. As a woman, I often feel limited by the common stereotypes of femininity. The words "soft", "gentle" and "flowing" are often associated with femininity. But for me, feminine energy is like nature itself - powerful, unpredictable and full of diversity.
The nature of FEMINITY
Look at nature. It is not just a peaceful landscape with blooming flowers and a calm lake. It is also a place where storms rage and waves crash wildly against the shore. Nature is full of contrasts and that is exactly what makes it so powerful. It is the same with womanity. She is not only gentle and tender, but also wild and sensual. She is everything at the same time and that is her strength.
Unfortunately, however, many women have learnt to suppress their wild and sensual femininity. They hide their authentic female sexuality out of fear, shame and insecurity. Why is that? Because femininity is still deeply suppressed and distorted to this day. Our society and culture have imposed certain norms and roles on us that pigeonhole us and restrict our true femininity.
The suppression of femininity
The suppression of femininity has many effects on women. It leads to a lack of self-confidence and self-love. Women often don't feel good enough or feel they have to fulfil certain expectations in order to be accepted. They hold back so as not to be labelled as "too emotional" or "too pushy". They lose their own voice and their own true self.
But it's time to stop hiding our femininity. It's time to embrace our wild and sensual side and live out our authentic female sexuality. We are allowed to free ourselves from the narrow boundaries that have been imposed on us and live our full womanity.
The liberation of femininity
It is important that we allow ourselves to feel and accept our feminine energy
and accept it. We can learn to recognize our needs and desires. By connecting with our femininity, we can discover our own strength and power.
Here are some steps that can help you:
Connect with your body: take time to really feel your body. Pay attention to your senses and be present in every moment. Feel the energy flowing through your body.
Set clear boundaries and stand up for your needs. Don't let others restrict or suppress you.
Build a loving and supportive community. Find like-minded people with whom you can share your experiences and grow.
Discover your own sexuality and allow yourself to express it freely and without shame. Sexual freedom is an important part of our femininity
